i am norza and this is my blog

what is that?

Recently Aisyah started her "what-is-that" phase. She walks around the house and then stops in front of an object and asks, "What is that?" while pointing her finger at it. Like most kids, she will repeatedly ask the same question. I still remember how my parents will answer me patiently everytime I ask the same question over and over again when I was small (although sometimes they are kinda pissed if I do that too often....hehehe) which brings me to this ad I found on youtube.

Well, I'm sure you know that Petronas has this tradition of making heartwarming ads during the festival season in Malaysia. And this one is not excluded cos it brought me to tears after watching this. Although Petronas has so many of their petrol kiosks across Malaysia and I don't think they need anything more to advertise themselves, their tradition of making such ads is something for Petronas to remember the society that made it one of the most profitable oil company in the world is something really commendable. We don't see these ads on Singapore tv at all.

But that's not the point I'm bringing across. After watching this, I miss my mum, my dad and well, my pesky adik too. I think it just sets me thinking that my hard-headedness and my impatience have caused so much hurt in my parents. But at the end of the day, I know my parents are the people who will love me despite all these shortcomings in myself. And that's what I want Aisyah to know too.
