tengteng'less
It's been a week that Aisyah's without her tengteng. *yay!* She had gotten a blocked nose due to some nose allergy and we went to see her fav paed (yep, she got a fav doc at Sengkang) last week. Noww...a blocked nose and a pacifier dont go well together. The paed spoke to her that she's not a baby and she shouldnt' use her tengteng anymore.
We went back home and she immediately threw her daytime (she got another one too for sleeptime) tengteng into the bin after me and her nenek talked to her about how tengteng is making her feel sick.
We didnt manage to make her throw her 2nd tengteng that night though. But somehow she decided to throw it away when she woke up the next morning, thx to her nenek's coaxing. We spun a story about how we found tiny fungus on her tengteng and we wouldn't want it to infect her mouth...hah!
She did make some noise on the second day, looking for her tengteng when she wanted to take a nap. And of course, we didn't give it to her although we secretly have both her tengtengs somewhere in the house. We kept reminding her that she's thrown both tengtengs into the bin and she accepted the fact on the 3rd day. She's gotten used to it by now...no more tengteng for comfort or sleeping. And I hereby declare she's tengteng-free! weehoo! Aisyah, Ibu and Ayah are so proud of you. :)
