once upon a norza

i am norza and this is my blog

I decide to post here again afterall. Facebook is more for short sharings. My blog is more of what goes on in my messy brain. I am sure my facebook friends don't want to read many ramblings from me. :p Besides my blog is more private though it isn't but well, everybody knows everyone on facebook. There had been so many talks on education nowadays and the sudden influx of foreign talents be it on the newspapers and social media. But what caught my eyes is this view from a Malaysian (taken from a fb's acquaintance wall):
the PSLE year is sheer torture for the children & parents, more so for the parents i think:). the amount of money spent, the hard work that parents put in to coach their kids, hmm...no wonder almost every S'porean i know flees the country for holidays at least twice a year (the more flamboyant ones who overindulge themselves will flee the country for "breaks" or weekend getaways at the drop of a hat). they need the break from the pressure cooker that they are in.but Vi, despite the moans & groans i tend to see S'poreans especially the Malays (the middle income earners) really soaking up the lifestyle of the rich & shameless most times. they indulge in designer whatever, expensive holidays abroad several times a year, snap properties in JB like they are hot 'goreng pisang', spend like there's no tomorrow, indulge their kids in all kinds of luxuries. people in neighbouring Msia certainly do not live that kind of lifestyle, certainly not the average ones anyway.
touche.
