You're still my baby

Sometimes I forget that Aisyah is not a baby anymore. She already understands what we tell her to do. She replies with grunts or shakes her head as a sign of disapproval and will squeal when she gets something which she likes. She has her favourite tv-shows and books.

She's already running now although her soles hasn't gotten that enough 'bunga' and she slipped last week while trying to be helpful to get my tudong and hit her head on the floor. 8/

She prefers rice than porridge and looks at anyone who's eating with a face that says, "give me some food pls..". So now whatever I cook for her, it will be a lil 'grown up'...soggy rice with a side dish. On Saturday, I cooked chikin soup, Yesterday it's beef and vege soup. And food has to be served in a grown-up plate as well...no more small bowls. Feeding by hand is greeted with mouths wide-open than with a spoon.

And we finally bought Aisyah a high-chair! yah..like finally. haha. emak warned us that she won't be sitting in that chair for long and I thought, "alamak...another useless purchase!" but Alhamdulillah, she managed to complete 3/4 of her meals without wanting to get down. I had to chase her for the remaining 1/4 of the meal. Fair enough. At least it's better than chasing her for the entire meal.
