once upon a norza

i am norza and this is my blog

small, small world

For every 4 weddings I attended, I would meet at least one person whom I never met for a very long time like in Huda+Hidir's walimah. (click for bigger image)

Huda+Hidir

I thought that face was familiar from the IRC days and I made that "hey, I know you!"-kinda-face to her. It turned out she remembered me and I gave her my namecard to keep in touch since I'm on assignment and when 2 girls meet, they tend to ramble to each other like what's happening during the 2/3 of their entire life..hehe. And I got an email from her a few days later telling me that she's going to get married in January next year. Alhamdulillah!

Last week was somewhat different. Now I know that I'm not a famous wedding photographer but somehow I never figured that I would actually meet someone face to face reading my personal blogspot. I thought this only happens when I was an IRC chatter way way back in the 90s when I would go up to someone I thought I recognise from the multitudes of photos she has sent on the web and then made myself look like a stalker.

There was a delightful moment when the person said “Ohhh, you're that NORZA...?” Who knew I would have moments of recognition? lol!
