the thing about marriage

A good friend tied the knot after 10 years of courtship. I am one of those who believe that weddings can be dull affairs that generally kill a whole weekend. But this is one those weddings that I really enjoyed and felt glad that I attended. It's really a wonderful feeling to be married. :D

A friend once told me that when its time for people to get married, people generally talk about what kind of food to serve the guests and the number of guests at the wedding. But they don't talk about kids and family and whether they honestly discussed about money and finances. I guess there's some truth in this. Of course, these issues arent romantic in the first place but these are the things that can save the hassles in future. Hard times will come. Love alone won't get anyone through. At time, it takes mutual commitment and lots and lots of patience.

enjoy your new journey, mrs yusry. ;)
